ROSA BOZHKOV

Bozhkov is an artist that currently lives and works in New Haven, CT. She received a BA in Studio Art from Vassar College in 2017. Bozhkov approaches painting and drawing as a way of thinking, wondering, and arriving somewhere unplanned. Her work involves multiple experiences of seeing – where observed, remembered, and invented elements interact. Objects and fields of color emerge from close observation and its imaginative charge. Bozhkov is interested in a painted space that slowly comes into being, as forms dilate in and out of recognition.
